Over the past few days I’ve been working away on the latest diorama. I’ve since titled it: “Who Goes There?”
I’ve painted all three models and I’m happy with the results. I’ve some more details to paint and then it’ll be done! A little over the original 10 day schedule, but it’s been more pleasurable to have taken my time with it a bit more… Tomorrow, I reckon it’ll be done.
More groundwork is still yet to go though and I’ve just decided to add a storm drain:
I cut the road surface carefully and drilled down into the diorama. I’ll be adding resin to simulate a collection of water. The cast will need a little work to fill in some bubbles. Here I have masked the drain for painting, as to not affect the already painted road.
