As projected, today I finished “Who Goes There?”
It has been a sweet little project, taking a few hours a day for 17 days. It’s been a real learning curve, as I intended to improve my figure painting skills. I mostly painted with the airbrush. Everything from clothing, skin, debris, road, terrain, barrels. In fact the only time I used a brush was for washing and details. The airbrush allowed me some really nice blending and tonal variation. I’m particularly happy with the guard’s trousers.
